This is a book about taking control. We cannot influence the cards we are given in the game of life, but we can decide how we play our hand. The commonsense advice is to decide what is important for us, to get it done, and to learn and adapt as we go. In other words, to manage whatever is manageable in our lives.

It started as an experiment. Lennart wanted to share tips with his kids (young adults) Karen and Lucas, and they embarked on a joint journey to discuss and challenge ideas and concepts that had worked well for Lennart in his thirty plus years as project manager, manager, and executive in different industries. It turned into a small book filled to the brim with useful tools and concepts, alongside plenty of stories about both successes and failures.
We hope that you will enjoy reading the book as much as we enjoyed debating, laughing, and generally messing around when writing it. You can find the book here: Commonsense Management: An Essential Guide for Aspiring Young Leaders
